The mission of the Indiana Archive of Abandoned Technology is to appraise, collect, organize, preserve and make available analogue machines of enduring value in support of the Archive’s administration, teaching, research and service. To this end, the Archive will:
-Provide information services which support Archive administrators in performance of their duties.
-Support research and teaching by making available and encouraging the use of its collections by the public, primarily residents of rust belt communities in the Indiana, Ohio, Michigan region.
-Promote knowledge and understanding of the use and manufacture of mid 20th Century household objects.
